A signed contract, brief questionnaire, and deposit are required to hold your spot on my calendar. For maternity sessions, I recommend scheduling your session between 27 and 34 weeks of pregnancy.

I'll be in touch before our session to confirm that we're going ahead as scheduled. I leave extra room in my schedule to allow for rescheduling due to rain, wind, snow, or heavily overcast days. Please arrive to your session a few minutes early - this leaves plenty of time to find parking, change diapers, and adjust everyone's outfits before we start!

Your images will be delivered approximately two weeks after your session, in a secure online gallery. Each image is hand-edited in a light & airy, true-to-life editing style. You can download your images to your phone and computer, and your gallery will stay active for two months.

Maternity sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, or at an outdoor location. Outdoor sessions are typically scheduled during golden hour, and take approximately 45-60 minutes.

Of course! Your husband or partner, and any big sisters or brothers-to-be are more than welcome to join us! I love documenting your whole family right before you add a new member. Four-legged friends are also welcome!

do maternity sessions include partners and older siblings?

Maternity sessions take place outdoors or in the comfort of your own home. For outdoor sessions, we will start approximately 1.5 hours prior to sunset, or within the hour of sunrise, to make sure that you are photographed in the best light. For in-home sessions, I recommend starting at 9:30 or 10:00 a.m., but this may change depending on the natural light in your home.

How far in advance should we book?

Long, flowy dresses work really well for moms-to-be! Dresses are flattering, comfortable, and photograph beautifully. Look for clothing in lighter, neutral colors (cream, greys, camel, muted blues, greens and blush) as they photograph better than darker, bolder colors. Upon booking, I provide a portrait planning guide and Pinterest boards to help with wardrobe inspiration!
