I'll be in touch the morning of our session to confirm that we are going ahead as scheduled. I leave extra room in my schedule to allow for rescheduling due to rain, wind, snow, or heavily overcast days. Please arrive to your session a few minutes early - this leaves plenty of time to find parking, change diapers, and adjust everyone's outfits before we start!

Your images will be delivered approximately two weeks after your session, in a secure online gallery. Each image is hand-edited in a light & airy, true-to-life editing style. You can download your images to your phone and computer, and your gallery will stay active for two months.

Family sessions typically last about 60 minutes, and take place at an outdoor location. Sessions are scheduled around sunrise or sunset to ensure that you're photographed in the best light of the day!

Absolutely. I don't know anyone who's totally comfortable in front of the camera, unless you are a professional model. I promise I'll tell you exactly where to stand and what to do with your hands. And in my experience - by the end of our shoot, you'll actually be *enjoying* yourself!

We're awkward and my kids don't sit still. Will our photos turn out okay?

I leave extra room in my schedule in case of inclement weather. If it's forecast for a 50% chance (or more!) of rain or snow, - or if it's heavily overcast - we'll pick a new date for your session. I'll be in touch the morning of your session to confirm that we are going ahead as planned.

Yes! Four-legged family members are always welcome. I keep a running list of pet-friendly outdoor locations for families who want to include their dog! Pro tip: bring a friend or family member to your shoot to help handle your dog between shots!

To give your photos a timeless feel, I recommend wearing neutral, lighter colors. Creams, grays, camel, and muted blues, greens, and blush photograph beautifully. Avoid neon colors, bright red, busy patterns, and logos. Upon booking, you will receive a portrait session planning guide, and Pinterest boards to help with wardrobe inspiration!
