Absolutely. I don't know anyone who's totally comfortable in front of the camera, unless you are a professional model. I promise I'll tell you exactly where to stand and what to do with your hands. And in my experience - by the end of our shoot, you'll actually be *enjoying* yourself!

Please, please do not stress about how tidy (or not tidy) your home is.  I remember the newborn days well.  We'll pick one or two spots in your home, move any clutter out of the way, and get started!

I only take a limited amount of newborn sessions per month, so the sooner you reach out the better!  I suggest inquiring sometime during your second trimester, so we have plenty of time to plan.  

Newborn sessions take place on weekday mornings.  We'll choose a placeholder date that can easily be moved up or back depending on when baby arrives!

To give your photos a timeless feel, I recommend wearing neutral, lighter colors. Creams, grays, camel, and muted blues, greens, and blush photograph beautifully. Avoid neon colors, bright red, busy patterns, and logos. Upon booking, you will receive a portrait session planning guide, and Pinterest boards to help with wardrobe inspiration!
